This Indian fetish is to remember the American Indians .  The colors speak to their  heritage and legacy while the work ask the question; "Why was this done?". 
The brooch measures 2.5" x1.5" x .33". The center component is enameled and incoperates fine silver and gold. On the right side are three natural peridot which are found in western North Carolina and the black balls are onyx beads. The setting is sterling and the pin on the back is stainless steel. It is a signed one-of-a-kind work.
